ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Director of Distribution & Logistics, you will serve as a key driver of Christy Sports’ Supply Chain strategy, overseeing the flow of merchandise across 7 distribution centers into more than 50 retail locations, and through e-commerce fulfillment in Colorado, Utah, Washington State & Montana. Reporting to the Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO), you will lead and evolve our Transportation, Omni-Channel Distribution Network, and end-to-end product lifecycle operations — from global inbound logistics through final delivery to the guest.
In this role, you will partner closely with Merchandise, Planning & Allocations, Stores, Finance, and Supply Chain Leadership to build a distribution and logistics operation that is as dynamic as the outdoor lifestyle we serve. You will bring deep expertise in Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and Omni-Channel fulfillment, Global Inbound & Outbound Logistics, and Distribution Operations to a team to support our company mission and values.

Innovation & Operational Excellence

Lead the development and execution of annual operational plans including budgets, capital investments, headcount, labor planning, and BC/DR strategies in collaboration with key cross-functional partners.

Drive continuous improvement across all distribution and logistics operations, leveraging industry benchmarking, emerging technology, and automation to maximize efficiency and return on investment.

Own third-party service provider performance, including regular review of critical metrics, external report cards, and continuous improvement planning; partner with providers on pricing, space allocation, systems integrations, and routing strategies.

Ensure operational alignment across all supporting functions — Merchandising, Planning, Stores, Finance, Marketing, IT, and HR — to deliver against shared business objectives.

Serve as a key operational partner to the Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO), providing tactical and strategic support across daily operations, ongoing processes, and short- and long-term projects.

Foster strong, collaborative relationships with Merchandise, Planning, Stores, Finance, and third-party vendors — proactively identifying challenges and driving forward-looking solutions.

Partner with Digital and Merchandising teams to optimize e-commerce fulfillment operations, ensuring order accuracy, speed-to-ship, and seamless guest experience across all direct-to-consumer channels.

Align distribution and logistics strategies with enterprise priorities, balancing operational efficiency, customer experience, financial performance, and long-term organizational growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience

Supply chain or operations certification preferred (e.g., APICS CSCP, CSCMP, CSCM, Lean/Six Sigma)
The Perks and Benefits
Budgeted range starts at: $100,000 – $125,000.00 annually. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
**Bonus eligible based upon company performance indicators
